Yahoo! Yodel Studio Global Event

Yahoo! produced three simultaneous and coordinated public events allowing people to sign up and put their own personal vocal stylings to pre-produced musical strings across various music genres. The Yahoo! Yodel Studio were events that landed in India, the UK, and US activating in sequence. Yahoo! took the lead designing the New York location. London and Mumbai locations were where Yahoo! requested design direction, talent recommendations / acquisitions, and program management.

The craziest challenge was having to re-design the entire London set after final approvals and a week before going live due to permitting issues at Covent Garden. In the course of two days and working around the clock, mobile event structures and scenic elements were sourced and re-designed. The Mumbai scenic elements were also revised to reflect a more unified Yahoo! look. Both events were set up on schedule and didn’t miss a beat!
